Foam Elements: Double Air Duct System with Polyether foam blocks, for extra soft landing, due to fast breathing possibility. Ideal for professional pole vault jump. This system is split up into different blocks which are separately in PVC-covers, so that the system can be build up or dismantled without damaging the Double Air Duct System. Directly on the Double Air Duct System is an additional foam core of approx. 10 cm. This top mat, also called spike mat or abrading mat, protects the main mat from the spike nails and can be changed separately after long use. The cover of the landing area AERO-OLYMPIA is made from PVC-covering sheet, with tear resistant Trevira-fabric. The spike mat has at the top and bottom a PVC-jacketed and interweaved netting, which is spike-proof, flexible and slideable. The spike mat is connected to the bottom mat by a clamp strap system, so that it also can be used upside down.
